This Sunday EVEYONE is invited to join us after the 9AM Mass for a family of family breakfast, celebrating our Grandparents! Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pope Francis has established the World Day of Grandparents and the Elderly<\/em> to be celebrated every year on the fourth Sunday of July. The choice of the fourth Sunday of July is transparently to connect it, as closely as possible, to the July 26 feast of Saint Joachim and Anne, the parents of Mary and grandparents of Jesus. This link to Jesus\u2019 family tree and to salvation history suggests that everyone\u2019s genealogy and personal prehistory is part of the providential plan of God. Family\u00a0is\u00a0priceless, and the role of grandparents is truly one of a kind. With a\u00a0lifetime of\u00a0experience and wisdom, they offer guidance, laughter, and\u00a0love, making them some of\u00a0 the most treasured members of\u00a0 any family, and that\u2019s why cherishing time with them is\u00a0so\u00a0important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
